Benefits of Membership
* Sharing knowledge - whatever your problem, there is a good chance one of our members has come across it before - and whenever two or three beekeepers gather together, there are five or six opinions on the best beekeeping methods.
* Insurance - as a member of the association you have access to bee-disease insurance, and other forms of insurance - ask the secretary for full details.
* Supplies - we sell wax foundation, Apistan, Bayvarol, Apiguard and glass jars at substantially less than you can buy them elsewhere, and any surplus goes into the Association's funds.
* Library - available at each meeting is an extensive library of beekeeping books, videos and DVDs, which you can borrow to take home and study.
* Members could obtain a substantial discount on beekeeping clothing from BBwear. The details of this scheme have changed so please contact the secretary.
* SmartWater. Members now mark their equipment with SmartWater to reduce the possibilty of thieves reselling stolen bees.
