Section 2 - Wax

Class P One cake of beeswax (227g or more)
Class PA Novice class – Two blocks of beeswax weighing not less than 28g (1oz)
Class Q An article of beeswax made from not more than 227g wax
Class R Two beeswax candles, moulded, one to be lit by the Judge.
Class S Two beeswax candles, dipped, one to be lit by Judge

Section 3 - Consumables

Class T Mead - one bottle of sweet mead
Class U Mead - one bottle of dry mead
Class V “Jubilee rose bowl” Honey fruit cake (see recipe for honey fruit cake)
Class W Honey cake – alternative version (see recipe for honey cake)

 

Section 4 - Photographs

Class X A photograph of a honeybee or honeybees – with caption,

(not larger than 175mm x 125 mm on a mount not larger than 250mm x 200mm)
Class Y A photograph of beekeeping – with caption

(not larger than 175mm x 125 mm on a mount not larger than 250mm x 200mm)
Class Z A photograph of a bee or bees other than Apis Mellifera – with caption

(not larger than 175mm x 125 mm on a mount not larger than 250mm x 200mm)

(colour of mount is the choice of the entrant)

Section 5 - Junior Entries

Class AA Junior Entry (Age - up to 11 years); An exhibit of bees or beekeeping
Class BB Junior Entry (Age - 12 to 16 years); An exhibit of bees or beekeeping
Class CC Junior Entry; Honey flapjack (see Recipes)
